Description
Bergmütze mountain hunter. In Feldgrau cloth, one button holding the flaps, the second is missing. Trapezoidal badge complete, some repairs visible. Interior missing. Attached is an attestation by Resistance fighter Etienne Huchet that this cap was found by him in Louhans on 4 September 1944 after the bridge had been blown up. Also attached are two handwritten notebooks, Code Q international. Some wear and patina to be noted. Condition II+. German mountain cap. Feldgrau cloth construction with one button tab absent and the second missing. Complete trapezoid insignia with several visible repairs. Interior absent. Included is the certificate of Résistant Étienne Huchet attesting that this cap was found by him at Louhans on 4 September 1944 after the bridge had been blown up. Also included are two handwritten notebooks, one concerning international Q Code signals. Showing honest wear and patina. Condition II+.
