German officer's sword. Model referenced in the Angolia Book page 66. Smooth guard with floral decoration. Black handle. The handle is partially detached from the pommel. Complete watermark. Beautiful gilding. The hilt features an eagle with folded wings. Beautiful blade with slight wear. Made by Alcoso Solingen. Pre-1938 logo. Blade length 82 cm. Rare lanyard with silver and green braid. Silver coloured tassel, some threads undone. Metal scabbard, 80% black paint. Length of scabbard 84.5 cm. Some wear and patina. Condition II+. German officer sword, referenced in Angolia page 66. Smooth guard with floral decoration. Black grip with complete wire wrap, partially detached from the pommel. Fine gilding with spread-wing eagle on guard. Blade showing light wear, made by Alcoso Solingen with pre-1938 logo. Blade length 82 cm. Rare portepee with silver and green cord, silver acorn with some fraying. Metal scabbard retaining about 80% of original black paint. Scabbard length 84.5 cm. Some wear and patina on the piece.
