German officer sword. Série des Maréchaux 1735. Beautiful smooth guard with floral decoration. Black handle, silver filigree. Beautiful eagle in relief with folded wings in a shield on the hilt. The hilt is also marked Ges Gesch. Over 80% gilding. Very nice blade with slight wear. Made by Eickhorn. Blade length 79 cm. Metal scabbard, 80% black paint. A few visible chips. Length of scabbard 82.5 cm. Some wear and patina. Condition I-. German officer sword, Marshals Series 1735. Elegant smooth guard with floral motifs. Black grip with silver wire wrap. Relief eagle with folded wings within a shield on the guard, marked Ges Gesch. Gilding 80% intact. Fine blade showing light wear. Made by Eickhorn. Blade length 79 cm.
