Description
Tunic 1897 121st RI. Tunic model 1897 made by a career marshal. Made from dark blue cloth and fastened with seven buttons bearing the infantry arms, madder-coloured cloth collar with black cloth troop-style collar tabs, madder-coloured embroidered numerals, original sewn-in ranks, unbleached cotton lining, leather-reinforced belt loop and two rows of six buttons at the back. The 121st RI was garrisoned at Montluçon. Model 1897 tunic of the 121st Infantry Regiment. Tailor-made example for a career maréchal des logis. Made of dark blue cloth fastening with seven infantry buttons, crimson collar with black cloth rank tabs bearing crimson numbers, original sewn ranks, ecru cotton lining, one leather-reinforced belt hook and two rows of six buttons at the rear. The 121st Infantry Regiment was garrisoned in Montluçon.
