Major General's kepi. Képi made of madder cloth and black headband, double row of gold cannetille embroidery with oak leaves and acorns. Gold braid over the embroidery, gold braided chinstrap, leather visor with leather trim. Brown leather sweatband bearing the markings of the prestigious tailor Bidal in Paris. Size 57.5 marked under the headband, gold satin lining. There are several moth holes and the madder part is loose around the edge. Major general's kepi. Made of garance cloth with black band, double row of gold bullion embroidery with oak leaves and acorns. Gold rank braids above the embroidery, gilt braided false chinstrap, leather visor with trim.
