Description
Zouave tunic, 1893. Made of black officer's cloth, the collar tabs bear the number 4 embroidered in cannetille. The effect closes with nine smooth bell buttons, original sewn-in lieutenant ranks, flat-braided sleeve facings and closes with 18 bell buttons. At the back of the effect are six smooth gold half spherical buttons, black satin lining, label of the tailor Liber in Saint Maxent, a second in the pocket attributing the effect to officer Lenenoir in 1913. Zouave tunic 1893 pattern. Tailor-made in black officer-grade cloth with collar tabs bearing the numeral 4 in bullion embroidery. Fastens with nine plain bell-buttons. Original lieutenant rank insignia sewn to the sleeves. Cuffs decorated with flat braid and fastening with eighteen bell-buttons. Rear of the tunic fitted with six smooth gilt half-sphere buttons. Black sateen lining with tailor's label from Liber of Saint-Maixent and a second label inside the pocket attributing the tunic to Officer Lenenoir in 1913.
