Colonial artillery captain's outfit. Comprising a dolman model 1872 made of black cloth and fastened by seven buttons with the arms of the colonial artillery. Original sewn piping, collar tabs representing the anchor and crossed cannons embroidered with cannetille on black cloth with scarlet piping. Original sewn captain's ranks, one of which is damaged on the left sleeve, lined with black checked rayon. In the inside right pocket is the label of a Brest tailor attributing the effect in 1898 to officer Bronnev. Dark blue cloth trousers with scarlet stripes and piping, martingale present, rayon lining. Colonial artillery captain's grouping. Comprising an 1872 pattern dolman in black cloth fastening with seven colonial artillery buttons. Original frogged braids intact. Collar tabs bearing crossed cannon and colonial anchor in bullion embroidery on black cloth with scarlet piping. Original captain's rank insignia present with one damaged on the left sleeve. Black checked rayon lining. Inside right pocket bears a Brest tailor's label attributing the garment to Officer Bronnev in 1898.
