Chechia set. Comprising a model 1879 chechia made from crimson felted woollen cloth, with a warrant officer's rank on the front surmounted by a metal crescent. The black leather headband corresponding to the 1903 modification has been removed over 5cm. Various costume maker's stamps. A chechia model 1879, captain's rank sewn on the front. A small later repair to the inside. Grouping of chechias. Comprising an 1879 pattern chechia in crimson felted wool cloth with applied metal crescent above adjudant rank insignia. Interior black leather sweatband corresponding to the 1903 modification and detached over 5 cm. Various costumier stamps present. Also included is another 1879 pattern chechia with captain's rank insignia sewn to the front and a small later internal repair.
