Colonial infantry captain's kepi. Made of black cloth, original sewn captain's ranks, anchor embroidered in cannetille. Gilded chinstrap held in place by two colonial infantry buttons, leather visor and snap ring. Tan leather headband. Some moth holes and seams that have given way. Captain's kepi of the Colonial Infantry. Tailored in black cloth with original captain's rank braid and bullion embroidered anchor. Gilt false chinstrap secured by two colonial infantry buttons. Leather visor and edge trim. Tan leather sweatband. Several moth holes and loose stitching.
