Colonial infantry commander's kepi. Comprising a colonial infantry commander's kepi model 1935 made entirely of black cloth, original sewn commander's braids. Colonial anchor embroidered in cannetille, gilt false chinstrap held in place by two colonial infantry buttons. Leather visor with leather trim, lined in fine black cotton with Carayon tailor's markings with gold epaulette in Toulouse. Commandant's kepi of the Colonial Infantry. Model 1935 kepi of a colonial infantry commandant entirely tailored in black cloth with original commandant's rank braid. Bullion embroidered colonial anchor. Gilt false chinstrap secured by two colonial infantry buttons. Leather visor with leather edge trim. Fine black cotton lining bearing the mark of tailor Carayon à l'Épaulette d'Or in Toulouse.
