1931 Algerian tirailleur tunic. Made of sky-blue cloth and fastened with nine smooth gold buttons, staff-type collar tabs with cannetille embroidered grenade on sky-blue cloth, all sewn onto the original daffodil collar. Original sewn captain's ranks, original mounted decorations indicating numerous campaigns. Grey rayon lining, sleeves decorated with 12 bell buttons. There are several signs of wear and moth holes, notably on the right sleeve. 1931 pattern tunic of the Algerian Tirailleurs. Tailored in sky-blue wool cloth and fastening with nine plain gilt buttons. General staff pattern collar tabs with bullion embroidered grenade on sky-blue cloth, originally sewn onto the jonquil collar. Original captain's rank insignia sewn in place.
