Description
Colonial infantry paletot. Paletot made from a 1920 model khaki drape capote, fastened by two rows of six buttons decorated with the colonial anchor. Two flap pockets, turned-up collar tabs, unbleached cotton lining with various service stamps and an illegible maker's stamp. Size marking 90C. On the back of the effect is the Kg marking surmounted by the triangle, identifying a prisoner of war. Colonial Infantry frock coat. Converted from a Model 1920 greatcoat in khaki wool cloth and fastening with two rows of six buttons bearing the colonial anchor insignia. Two flap pockets. Reapplied collar tabs. Ecru cotton lining bearing various regimental numbers and an illegible manufacturer stamp. Size marked 90C. The reverse bears the marking Kg surmounted by a triangle identifying a prisoner of war.
