Combat tank helmet 1926/27. Model 1926 helmet modified in 1927, over 85% khaki factory paint, model 1919 battle tank markings. Thin leather headband sewn then riveted to the front of the helmet, more enveloping neck cover specific to the model. Model 1926 black leather cap, held in place by eight clasps, three of which are damaged, original chinstrap present. The back of the helmet is marked Thibault and size C. 1926/27 tank crew helmet. Model 1926 helmet modified in 1927 retaining over 85 percent of its original factory khaki paint. Fitted with Model 1919 tank corps insignia. Thin leather reinforcing band stitched and riveted to the front of the helmet. Enlarged neck guard specific to the model. Black leather Model 1926 liner retained by eight clips, three damaged. Original chinstrap present. Interior marked by manufacturer Thibault and size C.
