Set of police caps. Comprising a 1935 troop police cap in khaki cloth, lined in unbleached cotton and stamped size 59, with a maker's stamp and a collector's stamp. A tailor-made police cap for a colonial infantry lieutenant, in khaki cloth with scarlet piping, embroidered scarlet cotton anchor attached. Unbleached cotton headband, numerous moth holes. A Lieutenant Colonel's police cap from the Liberation period, in chino cloth, two holes in the front for fancy buttons, removable rank, tan sweatband. Grouping of side caps. Including a Model 1935 enlisted side cap in khaki cloth with ecru cotton lining stamped size 59 together with maker stamp and collector marking. A tailor-made side cap for a lieutenant of the Colonial Infantry in khaki cloth with scarlet piping and separately applied red cotton embroidered colonial anchor. Ecru cotton band with heavy moth damage. A Liberation period lieutenant colonel's side cap in chino cloth with two front holes intended for private purchase buttons, removable rank insignia, and tan leather sweatband.
