1935 infantry kepi. Model 1935 kepi, madder cloth top, troop-style leather chinstrap held in place by two small smooth gold buttons. Leather visor with control stamp, black leather headband, fine black cotton lining with size 55 stamp and Paris hat company stamp. Material missing around the edge of the kepi. 1935 Infantry kepi. Model 1935 kepi with garance cloth top and troop pattern leather chinstrap secured by two small smooth gilt buttons. Leather visor bearing inspection stamp, black leather sweatband, and fine black cotton lining stamped size 55 together with mark of the Société Chapelière Parisienne. Material losses around the outer edge of the kepi.
