Description
US Liberation Army helmet. USM1 fixed bridge helmet, original paint and cork, OD3 canvas chinstrap, lot number 673A. On the bottom of the bomb the soldier has painted his signature in white paint, the same symbol can be found on the under helmet. The MSA helmet has a triangular-shaped badge on the front, repainted in green paint, with a white anchor and a blue cross of Lorraine in the centre. Canvas suspension held by steel washers painted in olive drape. Headdress in its original condition. US helmet of the Liberation Army. US M1 helmet with fixed bales retaining original textured paint and cork finish with OD3 web chinstrap and heat lot number 673A. Interior of the shell hand-painted in white with the soldier's personal emblem repeated inside the liner. MSA manufactured liner bearing at the front a triangular insignia overpainted in green with a white anchor and blue Cross of Lorraine at the centre. Web suspension mounted with olive drab painted steel washers. Untouched condition throughout.
