Bataillon de Corée beret. Beret specific to the Bataillon de Corée unit, made of black wool, two eyelets on the right side. Enamelled metal unit badge, made in two parts and marked Drago Paris, guilloche back and double Drago Paris bolero. Black cotton lining bearing the manufacturer's markings of Henri Veyrier in Bruyères in the Vosges and the Army reception stamp dated 1955. Size 60, ideal for a mannequin. After fighting in Korea and Indochina, the UN battalion left the Far East in July 1955 and embarked for Algeria. At the end of 1962, after independence, the unit moved to mainland France. It was disbanded at the Sissone camp. Korean Battalion beret. Beret specific to the French Battalion in Korea, made from black wool with two ventilation eyelets on the right side. Unit badge in enameled metal manufactured in two parts and marked Drago Paris on the reverse with engine-turned backing and double Drago Paris bolero fittings.
