Description
TAP 47.51 khaki jump jacket. Entirely made from khaki cotton fabric that belonged to Chief Warrant Officer Drapeau. The pocket press studs have some of their original tan and are functional. Sifer brand zips are functional, all buttons are present, beavertail is present and sewn in. The press studs are lined with leather washers, with a small hook on the inside to hold the beavertail in place. The warrant officer has inscribed his name on the inside of the item. Receipt stamps indicating the years 1951 and 1952. Near mint condition. Length 82cm, Armpits 69cm, Shoulders 53cm, Sleeves 55cm. Khaki TAP jump jacket model 47/51. Entirely made from khaki cotton fabric and attributed to Adjudant-chef Drapeau. Pocket snap fasteners retain traces of their original bronzed finish and remain functional. Sifer zippers operational, all buttons present, original stitched beaver tail intact. Snap fasteners reinforced with leather washers and fitted internally with a small hook designed to secure the beaver tail. The owner inscribed his name inside the garment. Acceptance stamps dated 1951 and 1952. Near mint condition. Length 82 cm, pit-to-pit width 69 cm, shoulders 53 cm, sleeves 55 cm.
