Description
Indochina equipment set. Comprising a British map carrier that belonged to Lieutenant Primaux of the 17th BGAP, marked Blackman 1944, one snap missing. A French made musette, specific to marine commandos and copied from the British small pack pattern 37 and marked by the manufacturer Chaumont in Paris. A set of manuals and leaflets distributed to soldiers in Indochina concerning mines and booby traps, a provisional leaflet on armaments used in Tonkin, over 30 pages with American and British models, some missing. A series of cartoons and explanations of the various types of mines used in Indochina. Indochina equipment grouping. Including a British map case belonging to Lieutenant Primaux of the 17th BGAP, maker marked Blackman 1944 with one snap fastener missing. Also included is a French-made haversack specific to the Marine Commandos and copied from the British Pattern 37 small pack, marked by manufacturer Chaumont of Paris. Accompanied by a set of manuals and instructional leaflets distributed to troops in Indochina concerning mines and booby traps, including a provisional manual on weapons employed in Tonkin of more than 30 pages covering American and British models, with some losses. Also included is a series of humorous illustrations and explanatory drawings depicting various types of mines used in Indochina.
