Decorations 1st Muong killed in action. Set of decorations that belonged to Sergeant-Chef Auguste Wack , Died for France on 9/9/1953 at Dion province of Gia Lam . In a box covered with fine red leather and trimmed in velvet are his military medal with its original ribbon, no major chips on the enamel, and his Croix de Guerre Théâtre des Opérations Extérieurs with its original ribbon bearing a palm and therefore corresponding to a citation in the Army Order. A small piece of paper in the box reads "Decorations of Sergeant-Chef Auguste Wack fighting a Muong group killed in 1952 (actually 1953). Military Medal - Croix de Guerre TOE.
