Description
TAP 47.54 camouflage jump jacket. Made from 47.54 camouflage fabric, the press studs are functional and in original paint. Functional Spidex zips, brass underarm eyelets, all buttons present and original stitching. Inside is the size 42 label as well as a manufacturer's stamp from Boyer in Paris and an Army receipt stamp from the 4th quarter of 54. Above the left breast pocket are sewn straps designed to hold a decoration bar. This item belonged to Second Lieutenant Alain Picaud of the 14th RCP during the Algerian War. Length 86cm, Armpits 68cm, Shoulders 58cm, Sleeves 65cm. Camouflaged TAP 47/54 jump jacket. Made from 47/54 camouflage fabric with functional snap fasteners retaining their original paint finish. Functional Spidex zippers, brass ventilation eyelets under the arms, all buttons present and originally sewn.
