Documents and stock of Garand FLN. Comprising various documents belonging to Private Didierjean Gaston, 1st Spahis Regiment. He took part in the Indochina war and then the Algerian and Moroccan campaigns. A large number of documents including a 1955 course completion certificate, information report, register extracts, joint certificate diploma, regimental order to be cited in the order of the regiment, folded military medal diploma... Private Didierjean brought back from his Algerian campaign an American-made Garand M1 rifle stock, taken from a fellagha. The enemy had engraved a radiating star and the date 1954 on the stock. The two grenadière rings and the butt plate are still present. Documents and FLN Garand rifle stock. Grouping relating to soldier Gaston Didierjean of the 1st Spahis Regiment. He served in Indochina before participating in the campaigns in Algeria and Morocco. Includes numerous documents such as a 1955 course completion certificate, service records, register extracts, combined arms qualification diploma, regimental citation order, and a folded Médaille Militaire diploma. Didierjean also brought back from Algeria the stock of an American-made M1 Garand rifle captured from an FLN fighter. The enemy had carved a radiant star together with the date 1954 into the stock.
