Set of sarouels. Comprising a regulation troop sarouel made of khaki cotton canvas with oriental motifs embroidered in brown cotton thread. Manufacturer's markings and size 34 inside as well as an army stamp indicating the year 1956. A worn Saharan company sarouel made of fine black cotton and fastened on each side with tightening straps, decorated with white cotton thread. The bottom of the legs are wide enough to be worn puffed up, ankle width 60cm. Grouping of sarouel trousers. Includes a regulation enlisted man's sarouel made from khaki cotton canvas with oriental-style motifs embroidered in brown cotton thread. Interior bears maker markings, size 34, and an Army stamp dated 1956. Also included is a black cotton sarouel from the Compagnies Sahariennes Portées, fastening at each side by adjustment straps and decorated with white cotton embroidery.
