Description
Algeria lot. Comprising a TAP 56 helmet shell, factory-made three-bridge model, original khaki paint buckles. Original uncut chin strap. Note a dent to the right rear of the bomb. A fighter commando type cap made from 47.56 camouflage fabric, two eyelets on each side, visor lined in fine beige canvas. Various handwritten inscriptions inside and a 3cm tear to the front. A 1903 tan leather belt dated 1943, second loop missing. An infantry police cap in dark blue cloth, scarlet piping, captain's rank to front, unbleached cotton headband with tailor's markings. Algeria grouping. Includes a factory-made TAP 56 helmet shell with three lugs and original khaki-painted buckle fittings. Original uncut chinstrap retained. Dent visible on the rear right side of the shell. Also included is a Commando de Chasse-style cap made from 47/56 camouflage fabric with two ventilation eyelets on each side and visor lined in fine beige cloth. Interior bears various handwritten inscriptions and the front displays a 3 cm tear. Accompanied by a 1903-pattern fawn leather belt dated 1943 with second keeper missing, and a dark blue infantry side cap with scarlet piping and captain's rank insignia at the front, the ecru cotton sweatband retaining a tailor's mark.
