Description
France, Louis-Philippe (1830–1848). Pocket pistol with checkered grip and percussion mechanism, circa 1840. Calibre approx. 10 mm. All metal parts with a mottled grey patina and small traces of rust-flower oxidation. Smooth octagonal barrel. The chambers and breech block are undecorated. Trigger under the trigger guard. Teardrop-shaped walnut stock. Functional mechanism with two cocking notches. The inside of the barrel shows surface rust. Complete. 17 cm (barrel 6 cm). (wear and damage, breech screw missing, as is).
