Wakizashi sword.
Coarse-grained stingray skin scabbard (with gaps) with brown silk braiding. No menuki. Grey blade, unsigned, with traces of oxidation and sharpening, and dents on the cutting edge. Maru Gata tsuba in sheet steel with a cut-out for the kozuka. Black lacquered wooden scabbard with a slot for the kozuka (missing). As found, never previously in a collection.
