Horizon blue jacket model 1915 of the 43rd Line. Horizon blue cloth jacket, 2 internal hip pockets, fastened with 5 small gold hemispherical buttons. Small stand-up collar with flap in dark blue cloth with number 43, soutaches and battalion disc. White cotton lining with numerous stamps, including that of the 43e de Ligne. 2 blue chevrons on bottom left sleeve. No belt loop. Wear from use, patina, a few moth holes. Model 1915 horizon blue tunic of the 43rd Line Infantry Regiment. Horizon blue wool tunic with two internal hip pockets fastening with five small gilt domed buttons. Small stand up collar with matching cloth tabs bearing the number 43, branch piping and battalion disc in dark blue cloth. White cotton lining with numerous stamps including that of the 43rd Line Infantry Regiment. Two blue overseas service chevrons at the lower left sleeve. Belt support tabs absent.
