Adrian helmet of the colonial infantry. Helmet with colonial infantry grenade and naval anchor insignia. Brushed dark horizon blue paint over factory livery. Some dents and dings. Dark leather 1st type cap. Chinstrap missing. A handwritten name under the visor, to be deciphered, with the date 1916. Helmet in its original condition, wear from use, patina. Colonial Infantry Adrian helmet. Adrian helmet fitted with the flaming grenade and anchor badge of the Colonial Infantry. Dark horizon blue paint brush applied over the original factory finish. Several dents and impacts. First pattern dark leather liner. Chinstrap absent. Handwritten name beneath the visor, difficult to decipher, together with the date 1916. Untouched condition with service wear and patina.
