Description
Silver-plated cutlery with iron cross motif in box. Set of 3 cutlery items: Knife, fork and spoon, silver plated, hallmark B with locomotive for jeweller Bruckmann, hallmark 90 for silver plated metal. Each piece is engraved with an iron cross and the dates 1914-15. In their white silk-lined case, with a partially legible Bavarian court supplier's label, probably Hugo Kuhn Hoflieferant. The underside of the box bears a handwritten inscription indicating that it was a gift from a mother to her daughter on the occasion of her 20th birthday on 19 February 1917. Wear from use, good condition. Silver plated cutlery with Iron Cross motif in fitted case. Case containing three pieces consisting of knife, fork and spoon in silver plated metal. Marked with B and locomotive hallmark for the jeweller Bruckmann together with 90 silver plating mark. Each piece engraved with an Iron Cross and the dates 1914 15. Housed in a white silk lined fitted case with partially legible label of a Bavarian court supplier, probably Hugo Kuhn Hoflieferant. The underside of the case bears a handwritten inscription stating that it was a gift from a mother to her daughter on the occasion of her twentieth birthday on 19 February 1917.
