Mütze feldgrau of a Hessian soldier of JR118. Mütze M1907 in feldgrau cloth, received at BA XI, size 56. Scarlet headband and piping. Some moth holes on left side and rear. Hand-sewn white cotton lining, securely fastened at back of headpiece. Presence of a name label of Adolf Weber, soldier of JR118. Sewn Reichskokarde with intermediate red felt, Landkokarde Hesse with folding legs. Attached is a pre-war studio photograph of the same soldier Adolf Weber. Wear from use, patina. Feldgrau visor cap of a Hessian soldier from Infantry Regiment 118 with his photograph. Model 1907 visor cap in feldgrau cloth accepted by Bekleidungsamt XI in size 56. Scarlet band and piping. Several moth holes to the left side and rear. White cotton lining hand sewn and firmly attached to the crown interior. Retains a named label to Adolf Weber, soldier of Infantry Regiment 118. Reich cockade sewn with its intermediate red felt backing and Hessian state cockade with folding prongs. Accompanied by a prewar studio photograph of the same soldier Adolf Weber.
