Dismounted troop helmet cover. In feldgrau canvas, size 55, well marked by a Cassel manufacturer and dated 1915. The 5 fixing hooks are present. Buttonhole for rear air vent. Tip cover attached with 5 different coloured ribbons, inside reinforced with a leather cone. Holes and missing parts on the tip cover. Use wear, patina, stains. But authentic. Helmet cover for enlisted pickelhaube. Feldgrau cloth construction in size 55 clearly marked by a manufacturer from Cassel and dated 1915. All five attachment hooks present.
