Camouflaged Stahlhelm captured by a Canadian with battle names. German camouflaged helmet, marked B.F.64, with leather headband and 2 of the leather panels of its cap, without pads, original rivets attached. The shell was painted by a Canadian soldier with the names of the battles in which he and the Canadian Expeditionary Force took part: Loos, Sanctuary Wood, Vimy Ridge, Courcelettes, Festubert, Arras, St Eloi, and others less legible. This helmet, which was in the display cases at the Targette, was published, among other places, in a copy of Mémoires d'objets Histoire de la Grande Guerre. Wear, patina. Camouflaged Stahlhelm captured by a Canadian soldier with battle names. German camouflage helmet marked B.F.64 with leather liner band and two remaining liner pads, without cushions, original mounted rivets. The shell was painted by a Canadian soldier who inscribed the names of battles in which he and the Canadian Expeditionary Force fought, including Loos, Sanctuary Wood, Vimy Ridge, Courcelette, Festubert, Arras, St Eloi and others less legible. This helmet, formerly displayed in the Targette museum showcases, was published notably in an edition of Mémoires d'Objets Histoire de la Grande Guerre. Wear and patina.
