Chinstrap present, cap in black waxed canvas, presence of the shock-absorber ring at the bottom of the cap. OCR initials under the helmet rim and a name written twice, to be deciphered. Wear, patina, helmet in its original condition. Named British MkI helmet. Helmet shell by maker DF, lot number 80, retaining its textured anti glare khaki paint. Chinstrap present, black oilcloth liner with shock absorbing ring still present at the base of the liner. Initials OCR beneath the rim together with a name written twice, difficult to decipher.
