British made American Mki helmet. Nice English shell with FS manufacturer code, with its khaki textured anti-reflective paint. 2 hits on the helmet's rim. Black waxed canvas cap with American stamp in black ink LONG 1-18 on reverse, netting and felt are present. Leather chinstrap present but broken on one of the lugs. Nice patina, wear from use. American MkI helmet of British manufacture. Fine British made shell with FS maker code, retaining its textured anti glare khaki paint. Two dents on the helmet rim. Black oilcloth liner with black ink American stamp LONG 1-18 on the reverse, net and felt pad present. Leather chinstrap present but broken at one attachment point. Fine patina and service wear.
