Description
German equipment. Comprising a lightweight rucksack in Feldgrau canvas and black leather. The leather straps are complete, as is the drawstring. Marked RBNr 0/0499/0026. A thick cotton cloth bag with blue stripe. German eagle and dated 1937, converted for the French Post Office. The Feldgrau bag was found in 2018 in an attic in Câstre. To note some wear and patina of the parts, as well as stains and snags. Condition II+. German equipment. Including one bread bag in heavy feldgrau cloth and black leather. Complete leather shoulder straps together with the drawstring. Marked RBNr 0/0499/0026. One issue sack with German eagle dated 1937, converted for French postal use. The feldgrau sack was recovered in 2018 from a barn in Castres. Showing honest wear and patina, together with some stains and tears. Condition II+.
