Sand camouflaged parachutist helmet. M-38 helmet shell. Manufacture T 68. Number 99. Complete aluminium strapping. Foams are dry but complete. Leather cap complete. Marked Koftweite GR 57 Stahlhaube NR 68 Karl Heisler Berlin C2. Complete leather chinstraps. The press stud is functional. The rivets are complete. 80% sandy yellow paint. Luftwaffe eagle visible under sand paint, left side. Documents found in the helmet bearing the nameplate Obergefreiter Worstenstück present. This label was wedged under the cap and was found after the helmet was dusted. Some wear and patina to be noted. Condition I-. Camouflaged paratrooper helmet. M38 shell finished in sand camouflage. Manufactured by T68, shell number 99. Complete aluminium liner band. All shock-absorbing pads present. Complete leather liner marked Kofvteite Gr 57 Stahlhaube NR68 Karl Heisler Berlin C2. Complete chinstraps. Functional snap fastener. Rivets complete. Sand-yellow paint remaining at approximately 80 percent. Luftwaffe eagle visible beneath the camouflage paint. Documents recovered from the helmet include a transport label bearing the nominal inscription Obergefreiter Worrentschuk. The label was found concealed beneath the liner after the helmet was cleaned. Showing honest wear and patina. Condition II+.
