The Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 687 (often called leichte Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 687 or LMAA 687) was a coastal artillery unit of the German Navy (Kriegsmarine) active during the Second World War. It was created in April 1942 on the island of Oléron (at the mouth of the Loire) with six companies. It was initially attached to the Seekommandant Loire (Commander of the naval defence of the Loire). LMAA 687 Île d'Oléron plate. Painted ceramic construction. Marked LM AA 687 Île d'Oléron 1942-1944.
