Description
Adrian M15 helmet with M/15 Hunter insignia. The helmet shell was originally factory-painted horizon blue but was repainted black in the 1930s. The insignia has been sanded down to bring out the hunting horn and ‘RF’ in a glossy finish. The B. shell retains its original factory khaki paintwork. Black M/26 leather liner in fairly good condition. Felt rim present but with a few gaps caused by moths. Original drawstring. Clasp hooks intact, but without the ribbed aluminium strips often found on post-war M/15 helmets. M/26 chin strap in good condition with brass rivet.
