A fine pair of percussion combat pistols, with smooth-bore octagonal barrels in 22-ball-per-pound calibre, made of Damascus steel and restored to a tobacco-coloured finish, rear-mounted lock bodies, foliage engravings, counterweights on attached breech plates, round trigger guards, barrels mounted on slides, Renaissance-style walnut stocks, prominent crown caps, a crack at the crown cap and on the left side of the hood on one of the pistols, a slight crack in the left side of the stock on the other pistol, all metal parts restored to (re-coloured in amber, liver and pigeon’s throat finishes, easily cleanable), mechanism in working order.
