Light cavalry sabre (Hussar or Mounted Chasseur), Year XI model, short blade with a fuller, produced by the Imperial Manufactory of Klingenthal in March 1813, with slight non-penetrating oxidation and points reworked into an aspic angle, bronze mountings, a long-tailed cap, the main guard branch dividing into two secondary strands framing the earpiece, a forward-curving quillon, a corded wooden tang covered in shagreen and adorned with an olive.
