Presumed portrait of Mary, Queen of Scots (1542–1587), Queen of France and Scotland, in a silver gown embroidered with gold, with a piped lace ruff, in a three-quarter view to the right. Oil on paper mounted on copper, oval 5.3 x 4.5 cm. Minor wear and restoration Metal medallion with a hanging loop, AU Comparable to the portrait used on the cover of the biography *Marie Stuart, la reine ardente*, by Isaure de Saint Pierre in 2011, location unknown.
