A man in a black suit, with short hair, depicted in a bust view facing to the right; a companion piece to a woman in a black dress, depicted from the waist up facing to the left; both set against a blue background, First Empire period. A pair of miniatures on ivory, signed on the left: Mulnier; outer dimensions: H 6.2 cm and H 6.1 cm.
