Set of three aprons, including a Masonic apron made of silk with a pleated black border, featuring fine embroidery in silver-coloured silk thread and sequins depicting a compass and square, two columns, symbolic tools and the flaming triangle with the name of God in Hebrew. on the front flap. 19th century. 30 x 33 cm. Black and white apron with pink edging, embroidered with a skull on the front flap. 30 x 29 cm. 19th century. Silk apron with pink edging; the design consists of a crowned compass, a flaming sun and a flaming stole with the letter C in the centre on the front panel. 19th century. 27.5 x 27 cm. Provenance: Auguste BERGER (178–1866). Chief pharmacist at Grenoble Hospital, then passed down through the family to the collection of Dr Joseph Flandrin.
