Set of three aprons, including a white Rosicrucian apron with a pink border, featuring embroidered symbols such as the pelican feeding its young with its own flesh before the flaming cross and the rose, acacia leaves, and the flaming triangle bearing the letter S. Silk and silver thread. 19th century. 30 x 35 cm. Leather apron. 29 x 32 cm. Masonic apron in silk with blue piping, finely embroidered with silk threads and sequins depicting a compass and square and acacia branches. A flaming star on the front flap. 19th century. 28 x 32 cm. Provenance: Auguste BERGER (178–1866). Chief pharmacist at Grenoble Hospital, then passed down through the family to the collection of Dr Joseph Flandrin.
