The 12 face cards from a deck featuring standard French portraits. 32/32 cards for both decks, one in its original packaging stamped with a coat of arms featuring a lion and three fleurs-de-lis surmounted by a crown, and the other unpackaged but with the same packaging. Colour-enhanced woodcut. 8.4 x 5.5 cm. Formerly in the collection of Dr Joseph FLANDRIN.
