A carved wooden wedding cabinet featuring a design of two flaming hearts surrounded by stalks of wheat, tulips and garlands of flowers on the door frame, with garlands of flowers running on either side of a basket of flowers on the lintel, and the scalloped crossbar adorned with a vase and olive branches. It opens via two doors, each with three panels featuring double, undulating mouldings. It stands on scallop-shaped front legs. Hinges, lock plates and cut-out iron motifs. Gendarme’s cap cornice. Provençal craftsmanship, late 18th – early 19th century. Height: 220 cm. Width: 120 cm. Depth: 57 cm. Also included is a moulded wooden cabinet, with doors and sides featuring diamond-point carved panels. 19th-century regional piece, Louis XIII style.
