Description
German reservist’s pipe. Porcelain bowl with polychrome decoration bearing the reservist’s name, ‘Fuls’, surmounted by a spiked helmet. The stem is made of hazel wood and deer antler, with the bowl engraved with ‘6th Company, Spantau 1897/99’. The bowl has been restored; the spiked helmet shows signs of impact; the mouthpiece is missing, along with other minor losses. Length: 110 cm.
