Umetada saku, kozuka signed ????() Goto Mitsutaka kao depicting a dragon coiled around a ritual sword on a nanako background in shakudo (an alloy of copper and gold), kogatana signed ????? Washu ju Sadamitsu (gimei), scabbard of veined wood. Japan, Edo period (1600–1868), Shinto period, second half of the 17th century. Composite mountings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Total length 59.5 cm, nagasa 43 cm. Fairly good condition, loose modern braiding, a few minor imperfections and losses, slight oxidation.
