A rare "fanghu" shaped porcelain vase, standing on a short foot, with a pear-shaped body of square cross-section, continuing into a wide neck with two tubular handles. It is covered with a thick polychrome "flamed" glaze in shades of aubergine, purple and light blue. The six-character Qianlong mark is incised under the base.
