A rare pair of porcelain vases, in the form of a "phoenix tail", the bases arched, the high shoulders bulging, topped by high necks flared at the opening, presenting on the whole a doucai enamel decoration of branches of peony flowers, the shoulder embellished with a frieze of precious objects on a background of diamond-shaped brocades. Double blue circle markings under the base.
